How does check-in work?
At B&B ADA, we operate with a self-check-in system. You will receive an email with all the necessary information no later than 1 day before your arrival.

At what time is check out?
Check out is at the latest at 11AM.

From what time is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served from 8.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m.

What are the different options for breakfast?
We will always provide a fresh, seasonal, extensive and – in particular – local range of products for breakfast. What will always be included? A range of breads and sweets, fresh fruit juice, eggs, yoghurt, jams, sliced cold meats and cheeses, granola and other tasty things. Vegan or lactose-free possible on request – small surcharge of €4 per person per day due to higher purchase price. Gluten-free is also possible. Please inform us in advance should you so desire.

Is B&B Ada pet-friendly?
Although we love pets ourselves, we don’t allow any pets at our B&B (unless you’re travelling with a goldfish; we can turn a blind eye to that!). Besides hygienic and practical reasons, we also do this to ensure that every guest feels comfortable.

Is B&B Ada wheelchair-friendly?
Because B&B Ada is based in an authentic manor house, there are three floors with no elevator present. This unfortunately means you can’t stay with us if you can’t take the stairs.

Can I dine with you?
No, we only offer breakfast. However, we are more than happy to recommend a number of amazing local restaurants. We’ve tried most of them ourselves!

Where is it best to park? What is the charge?
B&B Ada provides several parking spaces in a private car park (to be booked in advance via email or phone). We do want to mention that while driving up the turns can be tricky but, in principle, almost any car can get in with a bit of caution! The charge is 16 euros per day.

How do I get to you by public transport from the airport or the train station?
Antwerp Central Station: if you’re arriving at Antwerp Central Station by train, it’s best to take tram line 10. You can walk from the station to the Opera Metro stop, where you can take the tram towards P+R Schoonselhof. Stay on the tram for two stops until you reach the Nationale Bank stop. You can get off here and walk to our B&B in 5 minutes. See the map above for more information.

Berchem Station: if you’re arriving at Berchem Station by train, it’s best to take tram line 4. You can take the tram towards Silsburg – Groenplaats – Hoboken and get off at Hemel five stops later. Our B&B is a 3-minute walk from there. See the map above for more information.

Antwerp International Airport: if you’re coming by plane, you can take bus line 51, 52 or 53 from the airport towards Duffel – Hove – Berchem Station and get off at Berchem Station six stops later. After that, it’s best to take tram line 4 towards Silsburg – Groenplaats – Hoboken and get off at Hemel five stops later. Our B&B is a 3-minute walk from there. See the map above for more information.

Zaventem Airport / Brussels Airport: if you’re coming by plane, you can take a direct train from the airport to Antwerp Central Station. This takes around 35 minutes. After that, you can take tram line 10 towards P+R Schoonselhof as described above.

Can we rent a bike?
We don’t rent out any bikes ourselves. However, you can make use of the Antwerp Velo, a shared bike that you can use to discover the whole of Antwerp. You can purchase a day or week pass. There’s an Antwerp Velo station right outside the door! There are also a great many Birds in Antwerp. Birds are electric steps that you can find everywhere in the city! For more information:

How far away are you from the city centre?
Not only are we located in a quiet street, we’re right in the city centre! From our B&B, you can walk to the Meir (our famous shopping street), the bustling Zuid, the Diamond District, and so on. The main museums, such as the Museum Aan de Stroom (MAS) and the Museum of Contemporary Art, are also within walking distance. We at Ada will also gladly offer our guests the best insider tips for local places, based on what you’d like to discover in our beautiful city. For more information:

Check-in? Check-out? Can I leave my luggage with you?
Here at ADA we work with a fully automatic self check-in. This way you can arrive at any time you like! You will get a personal code with which you can enter the B&B as well as your room. If you would like someone to help you with the check-in, you can always let us know in advance! Then we will make sure that someone is present to give you a warm welcome.

We have provided a secure area for our departing guests where you can leave your luggage. This allows you to spend your last day worry-free.

Is there tea and coffee provided in the room?
All our rooms are equipped with a coffee machine with coffee and tea pads. There is also a fridge with water present in every room.

Do you have air conditioning in the room?
Unfortunately, we do not have air conditioning in the rooms. This is not allowed in our B&B as the building is protected by the city. However, we provide fans in all the rooms

How can I pay you?
You can pay us in cash or with a bank card, credit card or even with payconiq

What is the emergency number?
